OUR COMMUNITIES ARE LIKE A RAINBOWS
Our communities are like rainbows: Every color is unique, every color is pretty when used right but it can appear quite ugly when misused. A diverse, multicultural community is the same; it needs to be handled well to be effective just as the rainbow looks pretty in the order it is, but if you put colors together without considering their individuality or their role in the whole, the end product would be significantly chaotic instead of its perfect beauty.
Nuestras comunidades son como el Arcoíris: Cada color es único, cada color es bello cuando se usa correctamente pero pueden ser lo contrario y hasta horribles cuando no se combinan adecuadamente. Una comunidad multicultural es igual: necesita ser organizada muy bien para ser tan efectiva justamente como luce el Arcoíris tan bello con todos sus colores en el orden que van pero si ponemos los colores juntos sin considerar su individualismo o el papel que desempeñan, entonces el resultado sería significativamente caótico en vez de ser bello.

Thank you for reaching out to Conexiones Bilingual Magazine. We are happy to answer any questions you have about our publication.
We started publishing and distributing our magazine back in September 2014 in the tri-state area ( basically Hagerstown, Martinsburg, Chambersburg) but due to the high demand we grew over the past months and now we cover from PA - Hanover, Gettysburg, Chambersburg, Waynesboro; WV- Martinsbrg, MD-Hagerstown, Frederick, Germantown, Langley Park, Silver Spring. In the beginning we were a full Spanish publication. By November 2014 became a Bilingual Diversity Magazine and now we became a trilingual. We have our articles in English and Spanish and we just added Chinese, in order to include the Asian community.
"Because de Diversity Dream Continues"
Conexiones is a biweekly magazine printed in 2000 copies per issue, a total of 4000 copies per month. We also have the information, articles, events and interviews featured in the magazine, published on our social pages and on the website, which are continuously updated and give more traffic to our online editions.
Currently we work in partnership with different public schools in the area such as CASD - in Chambersburg, WCPS in Hagerstown, FCPS in Frederick, with Hagerstown Community College (HCC) and Frederick Community College (FCC) and with the police departments in Hagerstown and Frederick among other corporate, local government and community partners, sharing not only their events and information but being part of the organizers and logistics coordinators or their Hispanic and multicultural events like international nights and the Hispanic festivals.
Our Editor-in-Chief, Sergio Polanco is also logistic chair, dj and MC for all the above mentioned events in the tri-state area and he is willing to help you in any way possible reach out the Hispanic and diverse communities for the success of your event.

Intenta reflejar a través de un enfoque exhaustivo la necesidad de oferta y demanda por otros mercados en alcanzar a nuestra comunidad. Por tanto, procuremos estar conectados a este medio y compartirlo con los demás y así heredar a otras generaciones un mejor futuro.
Es por eso que CONEXIONES Intentará aportar respuestas claras a las cuestiones del cómo y del por qué estamos aquí, respuestas que quedaron en silencio o que suscitaron enfoques erróneos.
CONEXIONES será accesible al gran público hispanohablante del área de los 3 estados (profesional o literario, académico o comerciante, creyente o no creyente) quiere contribuir también a la diversidad cultural, no sólo facilitando la integración de las diferentes razas erradicadas a nuestro alrededor, sino que también estableciendo un diálogo intercultural apoyando fuertemente la oferta y demanda que crece a pasos agigantados en nuestra comunidad.
